One has to ask the question, with Trump in prison, what will the RNC do? The hush money trial starts March 25th and it is a slam dunk case. They have the lawyer who made the payments for Trump testifying and they have a paper trail. Quoting from the linked USA Today article

GOP Voters Do Not Want RNC Paying Trump’s Legal Bills

No Laura Trump, despite your families habit of raiding everyone else’s coffers to fund their lifestyle, as a Republican I do not want you spending even one red cent of donor money on Trump’s legal defense. Political parties used to have integrity. Since you obviously were born without it and the RNC has completely lost it, please allow me to point you to The Front Runner. Gary Hart got caught sticking it in another woman and that was the end of his presidential campaign.

Pay close attention to the movie. Your father in-law raped E. Jean Carroll and due to a loophole in New York law, because it wasn’t a vaginal penetration, could only be found guilty of sexual assault. Even the judge has clarified that decision. Somehow he even managed to weasel out of having to register as a sex offender which truly boggles the mind.

Now, we have a trial where your father in-law was sticking it to a porn star and:

  • You are okay with that
  • You believe he should still be allowed to run for President
  • You think he should get you appointed to a post in the RNC where you can fund his legal defense
  • You are okay with using other people’s money to fund the legal defense of a man found guilty of rape

Trump in Prison Shortly After Easter

There can be no “immunity” claims here. This offense happened before Trump was elected. Due to the backlog created by COVID-19, the case is only now getting tried. Prosecution has the lawyer that made the payments, the woman who ultimately received them, and the paper trail. Trump has already been convicted of large scale wide spread fraud and ordered to pay over $300 million. A little bitty fraud like this is a pretty easy sell to a jury even without any evidence when you have a prior conviction like that. Your father in-law can ask the two-timers in prison about that!

So, it is obvious Trump will be in prison prior to the general election. Just what will the RNC do? Well, for starters they should stop asking Nikki Haley to get out of the race so they can at least have a legit candidate on the ballot.
