Out ‘O Ammo
The only reason you are seeing Trump spout about extending the cease fire and proclaim just how well the peace talks are going is the fact he and Hegseth happy shot our ammo supply up. We Can’t Make Ammunition Without China and Russia
That’s a fact. You can read about it in official government reports. This debacle called Globalization, just like AI, was allowed to run amuck without any guardrails. Can you believe nobody in any administration, especially the first Dufus Trump administration bothered to look at this? How could anyone in the DoD have signed off on buying weapons components from Russia and China? Where is the threat assessment documentation?
The Uprising That Never Happened
The bullshit that was spewed by both Trump and BB at the beginning of the Iran war was that all of these protestors in Iran would rise up to topple the government. Never going to happen. Iran kills thousands of its own people each year so the few bitter old men can stay in power. So what, you killed one bitter old man at the top, big deal. Another bitter less old man took his place and got disfigured making him even more bitter.
The Second Amendment
Despite propaganda fed to you by those wanting to remove guns from America so we can be Iran, country run by incompetent bitter old men and a population that can never overthrow them, the second amendment is the right from which all others descend.

Reality
Yes, there are many people who came before and after Samuel Colt, and we can debate endlessly about the quality of everyone’s favorite gun. What cannot be debated is that the .45 caliber Peacemaker and the .44 caliber version were what made America. Do not drag this conversation off into a debate over the .45-30 vs .44-40 bullet virtues. The U.S. military and rural demand forced Colt and Winchester to start chambering guns to take the exact same bullet.
The Colt Peacemaker of this era was balanced and designed in such a way that you did not need to aim. This is especially true if you pulled the trigger with your bird instead of indexed finger. When the thumb and index are pointing in the same direction the human mind can aim without looking. You don’t have to be holding a gun to test that theory. It takes very little practice if you don’t succeed at first.
Being able to accurately fire a gun without having to aim while riding in the saddle was what kept people alive.
Your freedom of speech exists because has the right and ability to defend it.
Note to gun control freaks
The reasons John Q. Public needs access to what you decry as weapons of war are Iran and January 6. For those of you who do not remember when Russian Terrorist Cells, at the direction of Donald J. Trump, tried to overturn a legal election.
Had they succeeded, John Q. Public would have been called on to put the coup down. Vladimir Putin almost took over America without firing a shot himself.
Iran Doesn’t Have a Second Amendment
You cannot be a vicious and oppressive regime if you have an armed population. Hit a dog enough and it will bite. China can remain Communist because it is almost impossible for a citizen to own a gun. Iran doesn’t even let women dress the way they want so they sure as Hell aren’t going to let them have guns.
An unarmed population has little chance against even a small armed and trained military or police force. You have to outnumber them by at least 50:1 and you have to catch them out in the open. If they are firing from behind some form of barricade or wall, they have to run out of ammo before you have even a hope of a chance.
It’s a game of numbers. Samuel Colt didn’t grow up in Iran.
You have to smuggle in tens of thousands of rifles, hand, machine, and shotguns with tens of millions of rounds ammunition before you try a bombing solution. If you want a population to rise up and overthrow a government they have to be armed. That’s a job for the CIA. The CIA can always find an Oliver North. Honestly, everyone should read the details of Oliver North’s gun deal in Iran-Contra. He paid standard U.S. government price for the weapons, had three or more layers involved in the transportation, all of whom marked the weapons up, and still made enough money to fund the Contra rebels. In the era of twelve dollar pencils and eight hundred dollar toilet seats, I really want to know just how much Iran paid for each gun. Had to be astronomical.
When the CIA chooses the wrong people you end up with Bay of Pigs and American Made.
Why Go In?
Wag the Dog. Midterms were coming up and the Epstein Files were front and center in the media. Many, possibly most, in America say multiple times per day “Do not look away.”
For sure the world has needed to take out Iran’s leadership, all of it, not just the head, for decades. They fund terrorism around the world. You have to have somebody competent leading that, neither Hegseth nor Trump are. You also can’t do it while both Congress and the American people want Ukraine fully armed and funded. Both parties grilled Hegseth about the $400 million Ukrainian aid package he and Trump have not disbursed.
There was no reason to attack Iran today.
There damned sure was no reason to happy blast our ammo supply down to near nothing. You didn’t arm the population first. Someone has to have boots on the ground, period.
Summary
Iran won. They control the Straight of Hormuz.They will continue charging tolls to allow ships through. The “deal” Trump is touting makes the Obama era nuclear deal with Iran seem like it locked all of Iran’s leadership up in maximum security prison. Man, one sheet of single ply toilet paper has more substance than the “deal” Trump has negotiated.
Iran just has to wait. America cannot replenish its ammunition supplies because some fools sourced components from both Russia and China.
Hat in hand, Trump had to kneel and beg Emperor Xi. Russian oil is no longer sanctioned. Now Putin can sell it for north of $100/barrel instead of the $40 he was getting. Ukraine has been thrown under the bus due to Trump incompetence and that is not what the American people want. Trump threw Zelensky out of the Oval Office instead of cutting a deal to get Ukrainian drones.
We fire Patriot missiles costing roughly $8 million a pop (and taking roughly a year to make) to shoot down Iranian drones costing a few hundred dollars each. Ukraine has thousand dollar interceptor drones and really good cheap attack drones. If Dufus would let Ukraine open up a factory in the rust belt we could probably make those drones for $500 each. Lots of abandoned automotive plants that could produce at scale.
Iran won. Trump is Putin’s deepest mole. Quite honestly he is the enemy within. Having been propped up by Russian money most of his adult life, he is totally beholden to Putin, to the point he is withholding weapons and money from Ukraine that Congress approved. Trump was propped up to destroy American from the inside and that is what he has done.
America’s reputation is shit under Trump.
America used to actually stand for something. Trump just stands for his own corruption. After the midterms he will be impeached and imprisoned, quite possibly for treason. Only Congress has the right to declare war and a President cannot withhold funds Congress has approved.
