I went to use one of our hydrants today and didn’t see this thing down in the little hole the water makes in the gravel and clay around the hydrant. I assume it is some kind of moth and went down in that hole searching for water as it has been rather hot lately. Too bad the long white tusks it had don’t show up in the picture.
Just thought I would ask our loyal readers, what is this thing?
