It is most definitely time to boycott Bing and Microsoft. This worthless AI shit called Copilot can no longer be turned off. Microsoft forces this bug riddled excrement to the top of search results and wedges stuff from it on the landing page. I used to go to Bing.com just to see the trending stories. Not anymore. Now I go to npr.org<\/a>. Can’t trust anything on the Bing.com landing page.<\/p>\n\n\n

And that was when you could toggle the thing to “turn them off.” You can’t even turn the worthless pile of shit off anymore.<\/p>\n\n\n

Microsoft has a long history of screwing up Bing<\/a>. Makes me long for the days when Altavista actually existed. Just Boycott Bing.com. DuckDuckGo<\/a> is my default search engine when I’m not using Brave<\/a> or Vivaldi<\/a>‘s default search engine. (No, they don’t use Google.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This pursuit of worthless AI causing even more search result pollution than Google does shoving their own services and other paid advertisers to the top of the list even though they have nothing to do with the search term.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seriously Microsoft, if anyone wanted your worthless Copilot they wouldn’t be turning it off. Your forcing of Copilot onto Windows 10 and 11 machines is Linux’s best marketing tool<\/em><\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
