This telemarketing scam called me multiple times on Labor Day. The first time I was either busy or out of signal range because I had a missed call without a message. The final time was at 7:30 pm and quite honestly, it was the worst mangling of the English language I’ve ever<\/strong> heard. Someone who spoke absolutely no English would have been better than this.<\/p>\n

After about 5 minutes I managed to make out enough of what he was saying to learn it was some kind of burial\/life insurance scam. There seems to be a growing number of complains on 800notes.com<\/a>. Since most of you have probably never heard of 800notes.com I thought I would mention them. While someone has to be the first to get a call from a phone scammer, odds are against it being you personally. Whenever I have a missed call without a message, the first place I look is 800notes.com. If they hadn’t called about the time I was expecting a family member to call I wouldn’t have even reflex answered.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
