It’s hard to find fault with The Duff. Mae Whitman and Robbie Amell are perfectly cast, showing an amazing chemistry on screen. I mean how can anyone not love a movie which disses Hilary Clinton? That fact alone got the movie it’s fifth star.

Y’all went through high school (I hope) and a good number of you were The DUFF, you just didn’t know its name. Besides adding the word DUFF to my vocabulary this film also added the word “monoboob.” (Sometimes spelled mono-boob.) I had never heard it before. Yes, mono has dropped lower than brow now. If you haven’t figured it out yet, watch the movie.

Yes, The Duff is another high school teenager falling in love with the person who was always there so you never noticed them movie, but, it has enough way cool stuff to to let that piece just slide into the background. Watch it twice because you might miss some laughing.

Pay special attention to the ending.
